Elila has started doing what Elomi is doing which is substituting cheap itchy fabric on their bras. I could exchange this for a bra with smaller cups and a longer band but the truth is I don't want to. I managed to put it on fine but it had very little give and the band itched like crazy on my skin despite the bra supposedly being brand new. I don't blame Curvy Bras for this because I had a similar experience recently when ordering new Elomis from a different website; I tried them on last week and they were made out of identical itchy fabric. It looks and feels like taffeta though I suspect it's an unholy blend of different polyesters. There lack of natural fiber in the material is palpable, there's no breathability and there's no natural stretch which screams polyester. I have an Elomi bra from 2019 that I never opened due to it sitting in my mom's closet all this time. I tried that on to compare and the fabric sat very naturally against my skin. So something has changed and not for the better.
That being said the bra itself is still well made and if the cups weren't so massive then I would think about keeping it. It's still supportive. Unfortunately the fabric has been adulterated beyond usability so I'm returning this one.
