Sizing

Measurements don't always work, and cup sizes can vary from one brand to another if you need any help regarding sizing please give us a call as we have qualified fitters in house. These are a general guidelines for establishing a good starting point, sizes will vary depending on what style of bra you are wearing.

  1. Finding Your Band Size. Measurements should be taken while wearing a bra. The measuring tape should be held snug but not tight while measuring. Begin by wearing your best fitting bra - unpadded and not a minimizer or sports bra. Measure around the back under the Arm Pits across top part of bust, which gives you your band size.

Fitting Advice

We know some women want to understand more about fit and want to have some idea of how to properly select, put on and fit an appropriate bra for themselves. There are dozens of measuring systems and we have found that none of them are quite the same. And, careful testing has shown that none of them have 100% accuracy rate either. As much as we wish it were, measuring for a bra is not an exact science. So, what's a woman to do? Here is some common-sense advice for a perfect fit.

We do offer fitting advice over the phone just in case you receive a bra that does not fit.

You should:

Step 1. Tell us where the bra fits or does not fit, so our staff can make a suggestion on which way to go.

Step 2. Return the bra for a refund or exchange. Please enclose a letter with the advice you were given over the phone or enclose your daytime phone number so we can call you back

Help Guide

Why isn't my bra fitting me properly?

We have found that over the past years, we get asked the same questions time again, I hope our Bra Fitting Guide helps. Here are some of the most common reasons together with our advice for how to put things right.

Breast is bulging out of the top or sides of cups and looks lumpy under clothes.

This is a sure sign that the cup size you are wearing it too small the breast should be totally encased in the cups. Try at least one size bigger in the cup.

The cups are wrinkly, particularly at top and sides.

This is usually a sign that the cup size is too big so you may want to try one cup size smaller. However, if the wrinkling is only at the tip of the cup, this could be an indication that the cup size is too small because your breast cannot fit into the cups properly? in this instance, try one cup size bigger.

My Bra rides up my back or moves around as I move.

Apart from trying to squeeze ourselves into cup sizes that are too small common mistake, that we make is to wear back sizes that are too big. The straps around you body should fit snugly and it will only move around it if is too big. If this is happening, you need to try a smaller back size. BUT REMEMBER a smaller back size will also be a smaller in the cup. (eg. a 24E is the same size cup as a 22F). For example if you found a 24E fits you well in the cup but was too big around the back, you would need to try a 22F.

The wires stick out at the front or dig in under my arms.

When the wires stick out or dig in like this, it's often because the cup size it too small and your breast are forcing the bra away from your body. Try a cup size bigger so that wires lie flat against your body and fully encase your breasts. Or with regards to under the arm, try a bra that isn't so high.

The straps dig into my shoulders and leaves red marks?

The main support provided by a bra should come from the straps around your back and not the shoulder straps. If your shoulder straps are digging in, you are probably wearing too big a back size so you need to drop a back size. Alternatively, you may simply need to loosen the shoulder straps. Or if this doesn't work buy a pair of bra strap pads, which will give relief.
