History

Big Girls Don't Cry Anymore was established in 1992 when owner Karen Edbrooke was at home recovering from a serious car accident.  Karen, a well-endowed woman herself (she wears a size 18J), was sick of the frustration and tears caused by the way that larger women were being ignored by the Australian mainstream lingerie manufacturers. So, she decided to help BIG GIRLS all over Australia and New Zealand with their undergarment needs.

Importing larger sizes from America, Karen placed a small advertisment in a local newspaper and sold out in two days.  From these small beginnings she's never looked back or shed Anymore tears.

Big Girls Don't Cry Anymore now supplies ove 300 stores in Australia and New Zealand and has a retail store in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, where customers can be expertly fitted by qualified Corsetiers. We also happily accept catalogue, phone and internet orders.

We sell bra sizes 6 to 36 and cup sizes B to L.  Our styles include Front and Back opening, Posture, Sports and Maternity bras, Pants, Swimwear, Nightwear and Bridal wear.

1. Unlike some Australian Websites we have a retail outlet, carry stock and don't charge you until the stock is sent.
2. We have five qualified corsetieres who are experts in fitting all figure types. They are available to answer any questions by phone-fax or email. Our fitters actually fit in our shop everyday so they have the experience and knowledge of our bras.
3. We specialize in Bras Sizes 6 to 36 Cups A to L and we have the largest range of fuller figured bras in Australia. We also have nightwear/lingerie sizes 16 to 32 in a range of vibrant colours.
4. At our premises we have super size fitting rooms available especially for Bridal. Did I mention we have the biggest Bridal Range Available Sizes 10 to 28 B to FF Cups.
5. Did you know up to 80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra. Some have never been fitted and the bra you are wearing now is unlikely to suit you forever due to natural variations such as Weight gain/loss, pregnancy, menstrual cycle.

Refunds

We are happy to exchange or refund the garments less the cost of postage, if items are returned within 14 days. The item must not have been worn or damaged.

Delivery

We will email you back with Delivery on your garments, if they are not in stock, they could take up to 2-4 weeks, but we can give you an estimated time once the order is placed. If you require a garment immediately give us a call on 07 3257 1644 and we can check stock for you straight away.
